NBC10 goes live from the Wilmington Grand Prix

Wilmington’s Annual Grand Prix showcases the city with a weekend of bike racing and other events designed to draw visitors to the downtown area.  With a press brief and a goal to reach a specific reporter, I pitched the event as a story for a late afternoon/early evening Friday broadcast.   NBC10’s Tim Furlong’s live report from  the race also highlighted events around the city which positioned Wilmington as “a place to be” that weekend.
